Hi, I'm Keely

I'm Registered Dietitian with a PhD in Preventive Medicine, and someone who knows firsthand what it feels like to be trapped in a painful cycle with food.
For years, I was consumed by rigid food rules, constantly chasing the “perfect” way to eat. But no matter how hard I tried to control my diet, food still controlled me.
Everything changed when I realized that true freedom wasn’t found in more discipline or restriction—it was found in healing my relationship with food and my body.
Now, I combine science-backed strategies with a deeply compassionate approach to help women break free from binge eating—for good.
This work has already helped hundreds of women rebuild trust with their bodies and find lasting peace with food—and it’s possible for you too.

My Story  

When I first started my work as a Registered Dietitian more than 20+ years ago, I believed that food and weight were simply a matter of energy balance—eat less, move more.

That’s what I was taught—and for years, that’s what I taught others.

But as I worked with more women, I noticed a pattern…

Even those who knew exactly what to eat—women who cared deeply about their health and tried their hardest—kept getting pulled back into cycles of restricting and overeating.

Meal plans didn’t fix it.
Healthy recipes didn’t fix it.
More discipline, more restriction, and more self-criticism certainly didn’t fix it.
I realized I was addressing the surface—not the root.

And once I saw that, I couldn’t unsee it.

Despite all my training, I didn’t yet have the tools to help my clients truly find peace with food. It was humbling. I felt stuck at times. I made mistakes—many of them—but each one showed me something essential and pushed me forward.

So I went deeper.

I returned to advanced study in behaviour change, nervous system regulation, and compassionate coaching—and earned a PhD in Preventive Medicine to truly understand what drives lasting transformation.

Through this work, I created The Path to Peace Program—a science-backed, compassion-centered approach designed specifically for women who feel stuck in the restrict-binge cycle.
