Hi, I'm Keely

I found freedom from my struggle with food—and now I help other women do the same.

For years, I was consumed by rigid food rules, constantly chasing the “perfect” way to eat. But no matter how hard I tried to control my diet, food still controlled me.

I eventually realized that true freedom wasn’t found in restriction—it was found in healing my relationship with food and my body.

Now, I use this same compassion-based approach to help women break free from emotional and binge eating—for good. It’s transformed thousands of lives, and it can transform yours too.

My Story  

When I first started my practice as a Registered Dietitian with a Master’s in Human Nutrition many years ago, I believed that food and weight were simply a matter of energy balance, eating less and moving more.

That’s what I was taught by my mentors, and that’s what I taught my clients.

But as I worked with more women, I started noticing a pattern…

No matter how much nutrition education they had, no matter how many diets they tried, something deeper kept pulling them back into a cycle of emotional and binge eating.

I was providing meal plans, healthy recipes, and expert advice—but none of it touched the real reason they were struggling with food.
I was treating the symptoms, not the cause. And once I realized that, everything changed.

Despite my years of education and experience, I realized I was missing the key to truly helping my clients heal their relationship with food. I felt stuck. I made mistakes--a lot of them. But each one taught me something valuable and pushed me to find a better way.

I went back to school. I invested in deeper training. I became a Certified Coach and Intuitive Eating Counselor, and I earned a PhD to understand the science behind behavioral change and lasting transformation.

Through this, I created The Path to Peace Program—a compassion-based approach that helps women finally break free from emotional and binge eating without diets, restriction, or shame.
