Creating a healthy relationship with food and your body starts with recognizing biological cues for hunger and responding to them appropriately throughout the day.
Ignoring subtle cues for hunger or over-restricting leads to extreme hunger, and then usually overeating and poor food choices.
When you are ravenously hungry, all intentions to eat in moderation or with attunement go out the window.
Learning to recognize and tune into your body's biological hunger cues is an important part of learning how to eat intuitively.
Begin to pay attention to, trust and respond to your biological cues for hunger is another step towards building a positive relationship with food and your body.
