Marina Tricard
Originally born in Almaty, Kahzahstan, she immigrated during the fall of the Soviet Union with her parents at the age of five to Miami, Florida. Her family and her started a new life in America. Marina Tricard studied at Nova Southeastern University and received a Bachelor degree in psychology and a minor in forensic psychology. After over a decade of living in Miami she decided to move to New York City and start graduate school. Marina attended Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Yeshiva University and received a master degree in Mental Health Counseling. During her time in New York she worked in an intensive outpatient detox centers. Upon completion, once again she moved, this time to Paris, France. Marina Tricard attended the Sorbonne Paris V for research in clinical counseling. While attending the Sorbonne, she researched if the increase of stressors, related to immigration like assimilation, affects the consumption of alcohol in North Americans who have moved to Paris, France. During her ten years of living in Paris she has worked with many clients that have expatriated their countries and started developing issues due to the move. Being an immigrant and an international traveller herself, she is able to hone in on challenges and help clients work through them.
