This recipe is a classic. Broccoli Salad is a quick and easy side dish, perfect for any occasion. Honestly, I think this may be my favourite way to eat broccoli. This salad is the perfect combination of salty and sweet, with a satisfying crunch factor.
You can prep all the ingredients in under 15 minutes and then throw it all in a bowl and mix everything together. Pop it in the fridge to marinade for a little bit, then enjoy!

CAN I MAKE THIS SALAD AHEAD OF TIME?
Yes, absolutely. In fact, I highly recommend it. I usually make this salad mid-afternoon and let it marinade for 2-3 hours in the fridge before serving. This is just enough time for the broccoli to soak up a bit of the dressing without going limp.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED
In addition to 4 stripes of cooked bacon, you will also need a head of broccoli, one red onion, cheddar cheese, sunflower seeds, and dried cranberries. I used mayonnaise, white vinegar, sour cream, and a teaspoon of sugar for the dressing.
